Oak Butcher Block
Production Estimate: 3-4 Weeks
Prized for their beauty and durability, end grain cutting boards are constructed using an “end grain” wood pattern. When fabricated in this way, the wood fibers stand on end allowing the blade of a knife to move between the fibers instead of cutting through them, essentially making them “self-healing”. This results in longer-lasting boards as well as sharper, longer-lasting knives! Aside from their amazing functionality, they are truly works of art and beautiful to display when not in use!
Our end grain boards are made in the USA of high-quality, solid hardwoods. Two integrated, hand-carved handles allow for easy maneuvering. The boards are finished with our custom board balm - a blend of organic beeswax and mineral oil - to give the wood a natural, food-safe finish that both hydrates and protects.
- Wood species - American White Oak
- Handmade in Saint Augustine, Florida
- Each block is one of a kind; individual boards will vary in wood grain/pattern/color.
- Hand finished with custom Board Balm. No stains are used to finish these boards. The natural color of the wood is highlighted.

- Meets all food safety requirements
- Handmade in Saint Augustine, Florida
- Board care: Hand wash only, do not submerge in water. Apply Board Balm monthly or if board begins to feel dry or rough to the touch.
Due to the high degree of variability in grain pattern with these boards as well as restraints in their construction, dimensions are close estimates and not exact measurements.
- Small: 14"x10"
- Medium: 16"x12"
- Large: 18"x14"
Each Blessed Boards product begins with domestic, rough-sawn, hardwood lumber. It then goes through our in-house milling process after which it “rests” and stabilizes.
From there the piece is meticulously crafted to perfection with close attention to detail and hand-finished with all-natural oils or hard wax.
No stains or dyes are used in our finishing processes. Rather, the natural color and beauty of the wood is highlighted.
